Meet Julia and Yuriy Manchik, a newlywed couple on their honeymoon… around the world. The couple got hitched in September of 2010. And instead of wedding gifts they requested funding for a honeymoon, of indefinite length, around the world. The couple set off for their honeymoon with a figurative wad of cash burning a holes in their pockets and no itinerary. Once March rolls around (or the allotted travel money runs out) they’ll return home to Seattle, WA.
But how are they able to do that? Well, they are wedding photographers so they strategically planned their wedding and honeymoon right after summer, their busy season. AWESOME.
They are a very talented couple, and have perfected storytelling through photography. Sometimes I feel like I am right there with them. Which is pretty generous, because I don’t find myself in rural Turkey any time in the near future.
